The New Blood in North Georgia campaign aims to create awareness in the citizens of Catoosa and Walker Counties of Blood Assurance's need for their blood donations throughout the year and particularly in the month of August when available blood supplies run dangerously low. Specifically, we want to encourage the involvement of those citizens who have not made a donation within the last two years.
We all benefit when everyone gives.
2007 Goals
- Produce 250 units of blood over and above normal August donations.
- Produce 50 new donors *
- Identify 5 new sites for blood drives within Catoosa and Walker counties.
* New donors are defined as someone who has never donated or who has not been active in over two years.
